Job Description: We are currently looking to recruit an Experienced Full or Part-time Sales Administrator for one of our well-established companies based in Daventry.
Hours: Full Time Monday to Friday 39 hours per week / Part time 25 hours per week - all office based.
Job Purpose:
To provide administrative support to the sales team which includes handling customer enquiries in the office, preparation and follow-up of sales quotations, maintaining efficient filing systems for quotations.
Salary: Dependent on Experience
Job Responsibilities:
1. Handle and respond efficiently to any email and telephone sales enquiries received by the office.
2. Prepare and follow up on any sales quotations made for clients.
3. Support Sales Managers by generating reports and organizing data obtained from the internal administrative system.
4. Maintain good customer relationships by acting as an extension of the field sales force.
5. Liase between other departments, i.e. Operations department and the client to provide the service most suitable to the client's needs.
6. Ensure effective filing and administrative systems to support the Sales Team, keeping notes on pending quotations and bids.
7. Maintain understanding of our products and services.
8. Ensure that all pending quotations and requirements are organized efficiently.
9. Carry out any other duties deemed suitable by the company.
Knowledge and Skills Desired:
1. A good standard of education including formal qualifications in Maths and English - GCSE or equivalent.
2. Minimum of two years of work experience in sales administration/order duties.
3. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Service-oriented, attention to detail, capable of working to deadlines under pressure.
6. Able to work without constant supervision and organize oneself and workload appropriately to meet the required standards.
7. Must have a professional and proactive approach to customer service.
8. Carry out any other reasonable duties within capability as required.
9. Comply with all company rules including all Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements.
