Reed practice are working with a firm of established accountants based in Swindon. They are looking to add a portfolio manager to their experienced team. The ideal candidate willprovide professional and efficient technical processing, support & advice on the collation and reporting of Accounts across a broad client base from sole traders to limited companies, ensuring adherence to deadlines and processing budgets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Preparation & production of accounts from collation and processing to report and analysis.
* Ensure timely presentation of accounts within budget and to annual/periodic deadlines.
* Preparation of management accounts.
* Prepare corporation and personal tax computations.
* Conduct client review meetings and provide timely response to client requests for support & advice.
* Mentoring, training & supervision of employees including overseeing progress of delegated tasks.
* Development of internal procedures and workflow efficiencies.
Requirements:
* ACCA or ACA qualified.
* Accountancy practice experience essential
* Minimum 2 years post qualification experience
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Highly organised & able to work autonomously
* Ability to mentor junior members of staff
* Confident communicator – provide advice with regards to accounts
* Audit experience would be an advantage
