An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the award-winning Derbyshire Catering Service.
Are you passionate about food and enjoy working as part of a team? We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to work as a valued member of our dedicated kitchen team.
Responsibilities
1. Support the kitchen supervisor in all areas of the service at Highfield Hall Primary.
2. Tasks may include food preparation, cooking, portion control, allergen compliance, and preparing the dining room for service.
3. Serve meals to customers while ensuring food hygiene and health & safety regulations are followed.
4. Demonstrate an appropriate attitude suitable for the school environment.
Requirements
Successful completion of the NVQ food hygiene certificate will be required upon appointment.
Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
