We are working with a leading construction consultancy in central London who are recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to be based in their clients central London office. This is a unique opportunity for a Project Director to lead a prestigious, large-scale development project in Central London. The consultancy are looking for a Project Director to join their established Project Management team to deliver one of the most significant residential lead schemes in the capital. Mixing modern, world class design and heritage, listed buildings they are uncompromising on the standard of quality that’s going into this build. Combining hundreds of years of British heritage with state of the art, contemporary design will enable them to build luxury after apartments, townhouses and affordable apartments, along side a Grad II listed building. Project Director Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a major mixed-use development project. Manage and oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring timely and successful delivery within budget. Provide strategic guidance and direction to the project team, including consultants, contractors, and stakeholders. Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure alignment with client expectations and project goals. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards throughout the project. Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other key stakeholders. Key Requirements: Significant experience in project management within the construction and development sector, with a focus on large-scale and complex projects. Proven track record in leading mixed-use or residential developments. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement strategies, and risk management. Relevant degree or professional qualifications (e.g., MRICS, APM, or equivalent).
