About the Role:
Driver Hire Birmingham West is currently seeking experienced and reliable Class 1 Drivers to join our growing network of professionals. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the UK, ensuring timely and safe delivery while maintaining the highest standards of driving and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for various transportation tasks
* Ensure the timely delivery and collection of goods across the UK
* Perform vehicle checks before and after each journey to ensure road safety
* Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure compliance with all legal regulations
* Provide excellent customer service when dealing with clients and other stakeholders
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations
* Be proactive in reporting any incidents or issues that may affect deliveries
Requirements:
1. Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV driving license
2. CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
3. A full and clean UK driving license (or valid UK driving entitlements)
4. Experience in driving large vehicles, with a good understanding of the road transport industry
