We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Digital Marketing Director to lead a performance marketing centre of excellence - building awareness and consideration for our subscription products, efficiently acquiring new customers and supporting ongoing engagement. This is an important role, reporting into the Senior Director of Acquisitions. We will require someone with expertise in paid media and content marketing strategy, full-funnel marketing and agency management, to deliver key initiatives and results in 2025 as a foundation for our growth plans. The ideal candidate has significant experience gained within a publishing/ media environment, with a demonstrable track record delivering subscription growth, and optimising performance from in-house teams and external agencies and suppliers. What you'll be doing The Customer Revenues department operates as a collaborative centre of excellence, delivering full funnel, omni-channel subscriptions marketing across 70 print and digital brands. You will lead two teams - the Performance Marketing team, who co-ordinate and execute PPC and social media activity for all our subscription brands, and the paywall marketing team for Specialist brands. You will oversee PPC and social media advertising, and optimise organic activity in collaboration with brand teams, facilitating data-driven and innovative marketing that delivers awareness, consideration, and conversion, optimising lifetime value and ROI for our brands in the UK and US.
