GP Partner or Salaried GP with view to Partnership
GP Partnership opportunity or Salaried GP with development opportunity towards Partnership, 6 sessions per week.
Main duties of the job
In general the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
Normal duties includes surgery consultations and queries, triaging, visiting patients at home, emergencies, telephone consultations and signing repeat prescriptions, patient test results, patient medical reports and examinations on behalf of the Practice, referral letters NHS and correspondence.
Recording clear and contemporaneous I.T. based consultation notes. Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions (avoiding hand-written prescriptions whenever possible)
Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies/guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety, annual QOF Assessment of the Practice.
Contributing to evaluation/audit and clinical standard setting within the organisation. Attending training, Practice Meetings and events organised by the practice or other agencies, where appropriate.

Our team comprises one GP partner, two SGP oneANP, one Clinical Pharmacist, two PN and one HCA. We also have avisiting Midwife, Clinical Pharmacist, Social Prescriber, First ContactPhysiotherapist and PRISM. We are supported by a full management andadministration team, and are a Dispensing and Systmone practice.
We regularly welcome medical students fromCambridge University and other Universities including Brighton and UEA.
We are high QOF achievers and have a dailygovernance meeting, weekly clinical meetings and protected admin time.

Job responsibilities
Towork as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medicalservices to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard ofclinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. Furthermore, thepost-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice,contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example,maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with themultidisciplinary team.
