Project Engineer
Jacquet Weston Engineering (JWE) was established in 1973 & is a Private Limited Company. We are market leaders in the design and manufacture of bespoke surface finishing solutions and ancillary equipment for the surface finishing industry. We are a family business with highly skilled employees covering two sites: Head Office in Membury & our Plastic Fabrication Division in South Wales.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Project Engineer working out of our Head Office in Membury. Reporting into the Managing Director and working alongside the wider Senior Management team, you’ll be tasked with managing technical projects, from planning and execution to final review.
Responsibilities
1. Planning: Establishing project criteria, developing the project plan, and defining the project's scope and parameters.
2. Scheduling: Preparing and scheduling the project.
3. Coordinating: Coordinating project reviews.
4. Monitoring: Monitoring compliance with codes, practices, and performance standards, and ensuring the proper implementation of project elements.
5. Managing: Managing the project's budget and resources, issues, risks, and actions.
6. Interacting with clients: Interacting with clients daily to understand their needs and representing them in the field.
7. Assigning responsibilities: Identifying project responsibilities and delegating phases and elements to the appropriate personnel & sub-contractors.
8. Mentoring: Mentoring the project/assembly team.
9. Evaluating: Evaluating projects at the end and assessing results.

Schedule
Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break
Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break
