Site Engineer - Ayrshire
On behalf of our client, a well-established and reputable Civil Engineering Contractor known for delivering high-quality engineering and construction solutions, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Site Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis for projects based in Ayrshire.
Role Overview
As the Site Engineer, you will work closely with the Site Agent to ensure that all projects are well managed and completed on time. It is essential that you bring a strong background in civil engineering projects, particularly within sectors such as renewables, wind farms, and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
Supervise site engineers and provide support to the Site Agent and supervisors.
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Deliver technical support, resolve technical challenges, and maintain precise dimensional control.
Liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure accurate construction work.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum HNC qualification in Civil Engineering.
Proven experience within a civil contracting environment.
In-depth knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance standards.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills with a focus on maintaining accurate dimensional control.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
Possession of a CSCS Card.
SMSTS or SSSTS certification required.
Willingness to travel to various locations across Scotland.
Full UK driving licence.
