Salary: £12.50ph
Hours: Monday to Friday nights and Weekends days and nights

PAYE – paid 15th each month
This is a temporary contract position, therefore candidates need only apply for this role if they are flexible covering days, nights, weekends and bank/public holidays. From time to time, you may be required to work additional hours as per the client needs.
Construction Security Officer:
The main duties of the patrol & response officer are to provide a first-class service, across multiple areas, whilst ensuring the safety, security and health and safety of the premises, customers, assets and staff.
Duties to include (but not limited to):
Creating a positive first impression for the development.
Excellent record keeping.
Dealing, in a professional manner with staff, visitors and contractors.
Regular health and safety checks.
Working in accordance with site specific procedures and compliance with policies and procedures.
Undertake training and professional development, as necessary in order to be able to fulfil the role.
Represent StrongGuard Security UK, the client and other support agencies to their values during the course of your duties.
Conduct vacant property inspections
Complete reports and emailing them to the relevant team
Complete thorough inspections of premises for security breaches, health, safety and hazards
Completing incident and alarm activation reports as required to a legible and accurate standard
Conducting hourly patrols of construction site
Taking imagery whilst on patrols
Log on and off with our Operations
Applicants must have/be:
Excellent customer service and communication skills, verbal, written and listening.
Able to communicate at all levels and with people whose first language is not English.
Flexible and reliable with an excellent attendance and punctuality record.
Smart and approachable.
A team player with a positive, solution focused approach.
Must be able to communicate clearly, sometimes over sensitive and / or complex issues in a non-judgmental way.
Be able to maintain professionalism (professional boundaries).
Enthusiastic and must enjoy working with people.
A valid SIA Door Supervision or Security licence.
Screening & Vetting: Applicants must be able to satisfactorily pass the BS 7858 screening & vetting.
Identity check – we will verify your identifying credentials such as Passport or Birth certificate. This will be the first pre-employment screening and being critical for all employment in the UK. We will only accept original identification documents.
Right to work check – this will validate your right to work status, we will validate authenticity by using Home Office sources.
Address history – you will be required to provide proof of your current address and any other addresses you have lived within the last 10 years. You will also be subject to a search of the public electoral roll. Where an individual is not found on the electoral roll we will use other sources such as consumer credit ‘footprint’ data to prove transactional history of a person at a specific address.
Checkable employment / unemployment / education / self-employment history – which involves an analysis of a minimum of 5-years checkable history for all periods of employment / unemployment / education or self-employment, as well as confirmation of any gaps of up to 31 days.
