Description Closing Date: 14 November Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £9,269 Hours: 17 hours Cleaning Assistant – St Ninian’s Primary School An exciting opportunity has arisen at Facilities Management, Stirling Council for a cleaning assistant at St Ninian’s Primary School, Stirling.The post will involve providing 17 hours per week professional cleaning service on a 39 week term time basis between the hours of 3.15pm – 6:45pm Monday to Thursday and 3:15pm - 6:15pm Friday and paid at Stirling Council Grade 1. Applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, using cleaning machinery including electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers and vacuum cleaners. Be able to clean surfaces to head height and be prepared to work alone. Personal protective equipment, tools and training will be provided. Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications. The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children & Adults.
