We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Manager to join the team at the Holiday Inn in Bexley. You will have prior experience as a Sales Manager for a branded 4 star hotel, ideally in the area so that you already have some local market knowledge and contacts. The primary focus will be to support the key commercial activities and continue to establish the hotel within the local market. You will be also drive the profitability of both local and national accounts and secure new business across all market segments. Key Focus Corporate room sales - driving both national and local account performance Meeting and Events - we are big on all things M&E related with a large capacity for both exhibitions and meetings. Weddings and social banquets To be successful in this role You will be outgoing, have sound leadership skills, be great to work with and have clear understanding the importance of building and maintaining relationships both with our customer and the team in the Hotel. You'll be a key member of the senior leadership team and so be part of creating a great working environment. You will have a strong commercial acumen and be driven to exceed goals. You'll enjoy hitting those targets. Excellent sales, customer care, account management and negotiation skills. Excellent presentation and influencing skills will be key to success in this role. A good knowledge of Opera PMS systems is preferred, although training will be given.
