Supply Chain Coordinator
Responsible for overseeing the complete journey of a purchase order, from creation to when stock is successfully landed at our UK warehouse. Key responsibilities include tracking purchase orders, identifying and resolving potential supply chain issues, coordinating with suppliers and logistics providers, and managing stock.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Track the full lifecycle of purchase orders, from creation to receipt in the UK warehouse.
• Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve potential supply chain issues, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Coordinate with global suppliers and third-party logistics providers to ensure container space is maximized, shipments depart on time, and goods clear customs efficiently.
• Plan deliveries into the third-party warehouse and manage stock from arrival to being released into inventory.
• Run and analyze reports using MS Excel, ensuring accurate data management and tracking.
• Communicate effectively with overseas suppliers, especially in the Far East, via email to address any challenges or delays.
• Continuously seek process improvements and contribute to optimising supply chain efficiency.
**Requirements:**
• Proven experience managing the end-to-end supply chain process, from purchase order creation to warehouse delivery.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve supply chain issues independently.
• Excellent communication skills, especially when working with international suppliers and logistics partners.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, with the ability to run reports, manipulate data, and analyse trends.
• A proactive, process-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
• A collaborative team player with a flexible attitude towards a fast-paced work environment.
