Are you ready to drive beyond the possible; to work for an industry game-changer with inspirational people and the opportunity to thrive in your career?
As one of the UK's leading automotive parts retailers, we're dedicated to providing an incredible experience for our customers. We're looking for someone to truly make an impact and bring our vision to life.
In our head office, we support our network of warehouses across the country. As we continually improve our service and introduce a host of the latest technologies, we are looking for motivated individuals to embark on a limitless career with us.
Our Associates are what separate us from the competition; the people who make a difference to our environments, our customers and their experience. As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play an integral part in the Finance chain, assisting with Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control and cashiering duties.
Your Journey as an Accounts Assistant:
1. Assist the day-to-day workings of the Accounts department, helping to process purchase ledger documents, credit control and daily banking processes.
2. Review and analyse information from the supplier statements to ensure accuracy and completeness, and take corrective action, as appropriate.
3. Raise queries with the suppliers and customers to help resolve aged invoices.
4. Assist with general admin tasks and support the wider business as needed.
5. Provide excellent customer service to our sites, suppliers and customers, including responding to calls and emails efficiently.
Are You Ready to Embrace the Challenge? We are looking for someone who has:
1. Excellent organisation skills, with strong attention to detail and numeracy skills.
2. The ability and motivation to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
3. Great interpersonal and communication skills, being highly computer literate with experience of working with Microsoft Excel; knowledge of ERP systems would be desirable.
4. No accounting experience needed - full systems training will be provided.
