We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Member within the Structural Department based at our Stocksbridge site. The Team Member shall be part of a team carrying out planned & reactive maintenance duties, with a specific focus on pipefitting, across all departments of the Stocksbridge Works.

The Role of the Structural Team Member
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
9. Ensure maximum productivity & adhere to relevant Health & Safety procedures
10. Performing planned & routine maintenance on assets.
11. Carry out pipework fabrication, installations & replacement across site to agreed plans
12. Fabricate structural steel items of varying grades & thicknesses, working from engineering drawings.
13. Responsible for own workload and ensure all tasks are completed to relevant deadlines
14. Utilise CMMS to maintain services by completing and feeding back planned and reactive work.
15. Key competencies are a methodical approach to work with attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, decision-making skills and effective verbal communication.
16. A current driving license is essential
Requirement of the Structural Team Member
Essential
17. Trained to a recognised standard for welding & pipefitting activities.
18. Experience using a variety of welding equipment and processes, including, MMA/MIG/TIG/Oxy Fuel cutting.
19. Pipefitting Experience of heavy/light pipework essential with Plating and welding experience also an advantage.
20. Ability and experience of working to weld procedures.
Desirable
21. You will be a driven individual who wants to develop and broaden your skillset to enhance your career progression within Liberty Speciality Steels.
22. Computerised Maintenance Management System (INFOR).Training will be provided if necessary
23. Understanding of welding & pipework standards.
24. Experience desirable (but not essential) in testing and inspecting welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws by testing techniques such as MPI, Dye Penetrant etc.
25. Ability to read and understand engineering and technical drawings and work with technical data.
26. Must be multi-skilled in a heavy industrial environment. Plating and welding experience of heavy and light fabrications.
27. The Working Pattern of the Structural Team Member
The Shift pattern is days working one in two weekends.
