Job summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Support Officer - Safeguarding and Care Experienced to join our Safeguarding team. Main duties of the job o You will support ICB strategic safeguarding and cared for leads in the delivery of a range of work associated with the effective delivery of the corporate and ICB wide safeguarding and cared for statutory requirements.o You will support the planning, delivery, and monitoring of the ICB wide safeguarding and cared for programmes of work linking with colleagues across the safeguarding and cared for teams.o To focus on providing project support to the portfolios of work potentially including one or more of the Child Death Review process (CDR), Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC), Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) arrangements and primary care.o You will provide written reports and presentations to project groups, which can include staff at all levels as well as external partners.o You will work closely with other colleagues in the ICB safeguarding teams, within the Nursing Directorate and across the ICB to support successful delivery of the ICB statutory requirements.o You will at times be exposed to distressing, sensitive and complex information.o To quality assure data held on different systems to ensure accuracy, in order to provide reliable information on which management decisions can be made and for onward reporting internally and externally to partner agencies and NHSE.
