Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot various equipment. Responsibilities
1. Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
2. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including logic controllers.
3. Weld components as necessary to maintain equipment integrity.
4. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and functionality.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
6. Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
7. Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from various departments.
8. Assist in the training of new employees on maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
Requirements
1. Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role, with strong mechanical knowledge.
2. Proficiency in electrical systems, including the ability to work with logic controllers.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
4. Strong leadership abilities, capable of supervising a team effectively.
5. Good command of English, both written and verbal, for clear communication with team members and other departments.
6. Previous experience in customer service is advantageous, ensuring a focus on client satisfaction.
7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative in all tasks undertaken.
