Aesthetic Clinic Nurse – Cosmetic Clinic | Bristol | Part Time/ Flexible | £30,000 – £40,000 DOE Pro rata + Commission
Our client is a doctor-led, CQC-registered clinic specialising in aesthetic and minor surgical procedures. They are expanding their services with a new Local Aesthetic Theatre and are seeking a Registered Aesthetic Clinic Nurse to lead this exciting development. This role is ideal for a Nurse looking to take on an exciting new role in a dynamic and innovative clinical environment.
You will be responsible for the setup, management, and daily operation of the new local anaesthetic theatre, as well as providing energy based/laser treatments. You will work closely with surgeons and the clinical team to ensure the highest standards of patient care, safety, and efficiency. Your duties will include wound dressing, suture removal, and a focus on aesthetics, as well as assisting in consultations, follow ups and post op calls.
Experience in aesthetics is not mandatory, as for the right candidate, we will provide training on the most advanced Lasers and other Energy based Treatments.
Are you the right person for the job?
Registered Nurse (NMC registered) with experience in either community nursing, GP practices, or in theatres.
Proven experience in minor ops, aesthetics, plastics, or dermatology surgery is highly desirable
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Passion for aesthetics and Patient-centred care
What will your role look like?
Theatre Setup & Management:
Lead the setup of the Local Aesthetic Theatre, ensuring compliance with CQC and health & safety regulations
Maintain theatre equipment, stock levels, and sterilisation protocols to ensure a seamless clinical workflow
Develop and implement protocols and SOPs to align with best practice and regulatory standards
Clinical Responsibilities:
Assist in local anaesthetic procedures, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op patient care
Monitor patients during procedures, always ensuring safety and comfort at all times
Provide post-operative care instructions and ensure excellent patient follow-up
Leadership & Compliance:
Work with the clinic's senior management team to develop and maintain CQC compliance standards
Ensure infection control measures and clinical governance policies are strictly followed
Patient Experience & Coordination:
Support patients throughout their surgical journey, providing reassurance and guidance
Liaise with surgeons, consultants, and administrative teams to ensure a smooth patient pathway
Maintain accurate documentation, including pre-op assessments, surgical notes, and discharge summaries
