We're looking for aDesign Manager to join our NaturalResources team, working on projects in the Thames Valley region(North). In this role you'll oversee the design phase ofconstruction projects on wastewater treatment upgrades andresilience works.

Responsibilities
We're looking for a DesignManager to join our NRNN business unit. You'll playa pivotal role in overseeing the design phase of civils basedconstruction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, withinbudget, and to the highest quality standards. This work is withThames Water on their sewage treatment Waste Asset AssuranceProgramme (WAAP), for new and existing infrastructure assets (belowground) and non-infrastructure assets (aboveground).
Your day to daywill include:
* Coordinating witharchitects, engineers, and other design consultants to developcomprehensive design solutions.
* Reviewing andapproving design drawings, specifications, and other projectdocuments.
* Ensuring adherence to designstandards, building codes, and client requirements.
* Developing and implementing effective design managementprocesses and procedures.
* Monitoring designprogress and identifying potential issues or risks and managingdesign change control and documentation.
Whatare we looking for?
This DesignManager is great for you if you have:
* Bachelor's degree inarchitecture, engineering, or construction management.
* Proven experience as a Design Manager or similar role inthe civils / construction industry.
* Strongunderstanding of construction processes, building codes, andindustry standards.
* Proficiency in designsoftware (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit,BIM).
