What You Will Be Doing
As a Weights Engineer Undergraduate, you will support the Company's programme for submarines and surface ships. Your responsibilities include:Duties and Responsibilities
1. Preparing data for technical and production departments to assist them in handling and transporting units, sub-units, modules, and rafts.
2. Undertaking functional design and providing specialist advice and qualification within your scope of responsibility.
3. Reviewing, surveilling, and auditing to ensure that engineering data, analysis methodologies, and interpretation of results are valid.
4. Producing evidence in support of qualification, legislative requirements, and safety justifications.
5. Identifying and rapidly closing issues emerging from all product lifecycle stages and managing change embodiment activities.
Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure their requirements are supported and needs are considered and incorporated when appropriate.Skills
1. Minimum of being on track to obtain a 2.2 in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
You must be returning to university to complete your degree.
