Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice
* MBBS or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years postgraduate training courses completed including one of the following: • Master's in medicine (MD) • Diplomate of national Board (DNB), or
* Engaged in medical practice for three out of the last five years including the most recent 12 months
* IELTS - average score 7.5 (min 7 in each subset) or OET (B score)
Desirable criteria
* Evidence of research and/or publications
Experience and Skills
Essential criteria
* Understanding of the basic principles of audit, clinical risk management, evidence-based practice, patient safety and clinical quality improvement initiatives.
* Understanding of clinical governance
* Experience of managing neurology patients, both in acute and outpatient settings.
Desirable criteria
* Evidence of teaching skills.
* Previous experience of multi-disciplinary team working.
* Appropriate research experience and training and evidence of academic publications
