What you will do We’re looking for a flexible, organized, and motivated individual to join our surveying department. In this role, you will conduct surveys for our clients based on the requirements of Key Accounts and regional clients across the country. Your responsibilities will also include assisting in the audit process of our customer base and fulfilling survey requests for other parts of the business as needed. Attend customer sites and provide information for job pricing in collaboration with the Key Account Manager. Design cost-effective solutions that meet customer specifications and expectations. Recommend additional works identified through surveys and audits, potentially including other products or services offered by JCI. Compile job packs in accordance with quality procedures and ensure compliance with fire and security standards. Implement Health and Safety requirements for both the customer and JCI. Package survey information for our global design team to prepare final quotations. Use an iPad and survey software package to carry out surveys. What we look for Required Previous technical or technical sales experience. Multi-disciplined in security systems including access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, and EAS. Experience with systems configuration. Knowledge of fire alarms and care communications. Proficiency in PC skills, including Word and Excel. Familiarity with using Apple iPads. Preferred Knowledge of fire and/or security technical standards and electrical wiring standards. Electrical industry background or experience. Experience with designer systems and Arcsite (training will be provided). Knowledge of configure-price-quote tools and CRM management.
