About Our Client
The client that we are actively working on behalf of is a large chemicals distributor delivering on a domestic & international field to other third-party consumable manufacturers. The business is undergoing a period of change whereby internal teams will be altered, including the customer service operations, to streamline new customers & recurring business. Based near Denton, the business has undergone a period of growth & has also moved into a new production site.
Job Description
Key responsibilities will consist of:
1. Assist with managing overdue accounts and ensuring efficient payment processing.
2. Recommend suitable products or services based on customer requirements.
3. Compile product/service reports by collecting and analysing customer data.
4. Handle incoming calls and proactively generate sales leads.
5. Assess and address customer needs to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
6. Foster strong customer relationships through trust, clear communication, and effective problem-solving.
7. Provide accurate and timely information using the appropriate tools and resources.
8. Achieve sales targets and maintain call handling efficiency.
9. Resolve customer complaints professionally, offering effective solutions and necessary follow-ups.
10. Maintain and update customer records with proper documentation.
11. Adhere to established communication protocols and guidelines.
12. Collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues and coordinate with Logistics on courier-related matters.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will possess:
1. Demonstrated experience in customer support with a consistent record of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
2. Strong phone handling skills, including active listening and effective communication.
3. Proficiency in CRM systems and knowledge of industry best practices.
4. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to adapt to diverse customer needs.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building strong relationships.
6. Strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
7. Familiarity with SAP is advantageous but not required.
