Activity Coordinator (OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY)
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust
Salary Scale: Band 2 - 16 hours per week (evenings and alternate weekends)
We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, compassionate, creative, and keenly motivated to join our well-established and innovative occupational therapy team at Guild Lodge. You will be part of a team working alongside service users and staff to promote the importance of social activities.
Main Duties of the Job
A key aspect of your role will be supporting service users to engage in meaningful social opportunities outside of the main occupational therapy programme. We have a range of excellent environments and opportunities for service users, namely a large Therapeutic Resources Centre & Sports Hall (that includes a pottery room with pottery wheels and a kiln, an art room, kitchen, and gym facilities).
If you have a passion for working with people who have mental health difficulties and are good at motivating others, please apply! We always support and encourage our staff through personal development and appraisal and value the importance of regular supervision. This is an excellent chance to gain a range of really good skills in a fantastic environment!
