We have an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join a dynamic and growing creative agency on a temporary basis. Reporting directly to the senior finance team, you will take ownership of bookkeeping, month-end reporting, and financial operations. As part of a small finance function, this role offers exposure to multiple areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Purchase Ledger: Process invoices in Xero, obtain approvals, manage bi-monthly payment runs, and reconcile bank statements
2. Sales Ledger: Issue and allocate payments for all sales invoices
3. Month-End Reporting: Prepare management accounts, post journals (accruals, prepayments, deferred income), complete bank reconciliations, and review first drafts with the Finance Manager
4. Bank Transactions: Post and allocate all transactions in Xero
5. Inbox Management: Oversee the finance inbox and handle relevant queries
Key Requirements
1. Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
2. Experience with Xero is essential
3. Experience with Wise is desirable but not required
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
5. AAT/ACCA/CIMA is desirable
