The role will be responsible for streamlining our HR operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and providing a brilliant employee experience. This role will also be heavily involved in evolving and maintaining our compensation and benefits structure. This is a crucial role in driving operational excellence and enhancing overall governance as we navigate a period of exciting growth and evolution. What You'll Do Governance - Policy Development and Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies and procedures aligned with UK employment law and regulatory requirements ensuring they also reflect company values and objectives. Conduct regular audits and update as required to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Stay up-to-date with changes in UK employment law and regulations. Manage the company handbook. People Data and Reporting: Schedule and review data from HR systems to inform decision-making. Automation and Efficiency: Identify and implement automation solutions to reduce manual tasks. Support the implementation of HR tech solutions to streamline workflows. Create and maintain guidance resources for managers and employees on using automated systems effectively. Manager and Employee Self-Service: Develop and implement self-service solutions for routine HR tasks and processes. Create and maintain guidance resources to empower employees and managers to effectively utilise self-service tools. Monitor usage and continuously improve the self-service experience. Process Improvement: Assess employee-facing and internal HR processes and identify areas for improvement. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency. Create and maintain process documentation to ensure processes are repeatable and scalable. Measure the impact of process improvements and report on outcomes. Compensation and benefits: Implement changes and updates made to our compensation and benefits structure. Monitor benefits take-up and keep up-to-date with external market trends. Manage biannual salary benchmarking, develop recommendations on employee salary bands and update where appropriate in our compensation tool. Who you are Proven experience in HR operations, ideally in a high-growth tech company. Strong understanding of UK employment law and regulations. Extensive experience of developing compliant policies and process documentation. Proficiency in HR technology and data analytics. Excellent project management and organisational skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
