NatureFinance (NF) is a Swiss-based, international non-profit organization dedicated to aligning global finance with more equitable, nature positive outcomes. We work to make nature count in global finance and the global economy. NatureFinance is active in advancing the use of data to disclose and manage nature related risks, developing impactful and equitable nature markets, and advancing financial innovation in the areas of sovereign debt and nature positive investment. Sustainability-Linked Sovereign Debt Hub (SSDH)
The Sustainability-linked Sovereign Debt Hub was established to foster the development and scaling of sustainability-linked sovereign debt. The Hub serves as an inclusive, cooperative space, bringing together actors from the entire spectrum of the sovereign sustainability-linked bonds universe. It also acts as a knowledge-sharing platform to deepen expertise in integrating nature and climate considerations into the sovereign debt markets.
Senior Policy Analyst: Innovative Sovereign Financing
The Senior Policy Analyst will report to the SSDH Lead and support various workstreams within the Debt team. Over time, they will independently lead projects within the Hub, ensuring timely deliverables and fostering effective collaboration.
The Senior Policy Analyst will also assume the role of Head of Secretariat for the Task Force on Credit Enhancement for Sustainability-linked Sovereign Financing, coordinating its agenda and managing secretarial functions.
Key Responsibilities
General Responsibilities:
* Build and nourish solid working relationships with key stakeholders
* Develop high-quality content to support SSDH projects and initiatives.
* Ensure effective project management and timely delivery of outputs.
* Coordinate with NF Communications and Events Teams to organize SSDH events (e.g., Annual Meetings, COP).
* Provide content development support and secretarial activities for working groups (e.g. CRDC working group)
Specific responsibilities as ‘Head of Secretariat for the Task Force on Credit Enhancement for Sustainability-linked Sovereign Financing’
* Lead and coordinate the Task Force agenda together the initial Chairs (IDB, DFC)
* Manage Secretarial functions, including organizing and leading Task Force meetings and engaging with Task Force members
* Provide technical and policy content support such as reviewing materials and sourcing relevant information
* Represent the SSDH and liaise with the Working Group on Nature- and Climate-linked Sovereign Financing (comprising TNC and UNFCCC, and other members)
Qualifications and Skills
* Advanced degree in finance, economics, public policy, or a related field with approximately 10 years of relevant professional experience in similar positions.
* Strong expertise in sovereign debt markets, sustainability-linked financing, and policy development.
* Proven experience managing multi-stakeholder initiatives and high-level engagements, including public sector stakeholders.
* Ability to coordinate and influence
* Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to produce high-quality content. Fluency in English is required.
* Proficiency in project management and collaborative tools.
* Desirable: working experience in public sector or international organizations

Terms
The role will be full-time, working remotely, with a requirement for a candidate to be located within the CET time zone.
The team member notes that, due to the characteristics of the Foundation's business and the position, they might be required to do some trips. The Foundation can determine the means of transport. The gross salary will not be affected by this, and the Foundation will either supplies cash in advance or reimbursed in full all costs associated to the business travels including but not limited to flights, hotel, and other expenses associated with the business trip.
