This well established, forward thinking, two partner accountancy practice located in the West End of London is seeking either, a Senior Accountant Manager, or an existing Practice Manager looking to move to a new firm. This role is a replacement role and not a newly created position.

Working hours; Monday to Friday with 4 days working in the office and 1 day working from home.
Hours are 9.30-5.30 .
The Role : Reporting directly to Partner. Management of all staff to include other managers, senior accountants, mid level and junior staff, mentoring and reviewing performance.
All tax compliance finalisation, accounts finalisation, tax planning involvement for clients and proposals for new clients.
All accounts and Practice functions including chairing managers meetings and supervising monthly work programme.
Liaising with CPD and software providers, dealing with recruitment needs.
Personally looking after a small portfolio of VIP clients.
The candidate : You must be a fully qualified (not part qualified) Accountant with a minimum of 6-8 years recent accountancy practice experience.
You must have experience of staff mentoring, training and review for accounts preparation, tax compliance and management of other senior staff members.
You must have the capacity to utilise your skills of leadership, patience, empathy and understanding with and towards your staff whilst managing to get the best from them in terms of productivity.
