An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Occupational Health team as a full-time Occupational Health Administrator on a 3-month temporary contract.
Innovia Films are a leading global manufacturer of Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) films, supplying highly differentiated speciality products into the packaging, labels, tobacco overwrap and securities markets.
What is this role?
We are looking for an Occupational Health Administrator to join our Occupational Health Department. Reporting to our Occupational Health Advisor, the successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Occupational Health Department, ensuring confidentiality and legislative compliance, whilst delivering exceptional customer service to the organisation.
This is a temporary, full time role working Monday to Friday, 08:30 until 17:00 for a period of 3 months.
The responsibilities of the role will include:
* Provide efficient employee administration aligned to the Occupational Health Department requirements.
* Act as a point of contact for any OH related queries from the business.
* Provide support and advice to both employees and line managers, regarding Occupational Health queries.
* Ensure all OH appointments, Health Surveillance and Physiotherapy, are booked in accordance with company requirements and in the correct timescales, with the relevant stakeholders being notified.
* Ensure consistency of service within the Occupational Health Department, by creating and maintaining relevant documentation, whilst ensuring confidentiality and legislative compliance.
* Maintain accurate records to produce and prepare OH reporting data, as required.
* Maintain records of Occupational Health equipment and sundries, whilst replenishing stocks when required.
* Ensure all employment related documentation, and administration is input onto the OH system, and employee filing systems to satisfy audit requirements.
* Add all Starters, Leavers, and Transfers within the organisation to the OH Systems.
* Update internal sickness records, documentation, and the OH system to ensure all absence information across the business is captured accurately.
* Prepare communications and announcements from the OH department, including Health Campaigns, to the wider business.
* Apply a Continuous Improvement mindset to identify and drive efficiencies within the OH department.
* Provide support to the OH department to deliver the business priorities as required.
What skills will you need?
Ideally, the successful candidate will have previous experience within a business administrative environment, along with experience and knowledge of using computer-based systems. Previous customer service experience within a transferable background will be advantageous to this role, as well as being proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
In addition to this you will be a team player with a proactive attitude. You will be self-motivated with the ability to adapt to any situation. We are seeking a positive, reliable and approachable candidate who demonstrates integrity and always maintains confidentiality.
What are we offering in return?
The salary for this role will be up to £23,000 per annum.
Additionally, you will be given 25 days holiday (plus 8 statutory bank holidays) per year.
