About the Role
Our award-winning Kitchen Team has a new and exciting opportunity for a SnrChef de Partie - Pastry to join us on a full-time contract, as we complete anexciting year in 2024. Led by our Executive Chef, working in a friendly andinclusive kitchen, you will create superb plated desserts from 3 rosettes to intricateafternoon tea pastries using fresh and local produce. We cater for privateevents from 6 to 600 guests.
This is an exciting and challenging role that will allow you to transferand develop your skills and progress. Reporting into the Executive Chef, youwill be responsible for your own section and gain invaluable guidance anddevelopment from within the resort.
About You
You will be an enthusiastic individual with previous experience as aChef de Partie. A solid knowledge of culinary terminology and techniques isessential along with being qualified to SCQF Level 5 in patisserie orprofessional cookery and competent in the following: plated desserts, chocolatework, patisserie and have basic knowledge in boulangerie. You will also be ableto demonstrate competencies and skills within the kitchen hygienic workingpractices, HACCAP understanding and stock rotation and control, as well as enjoyworking as part of a team.
Salary
This a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, 5 days out of7. A competitive salary of £31, is offered along with a vast range ofexcellent employee benefits.
