Technical Support Engineer - £35,000 - £45,000 - Cardiff with WFH flexibility (2 days per week)
Are you a Technical Support Engineer with a background in supporting customers, understanding of Networking/Infrastructure/Storage and looking for something new?
I'm working with an exciting business who are looking to expand its award-winning engineering team that prides itself on delivering first-class support and service to their customers. Ideally, you'd have 2+ years experience in a 1st/2nd line role and looking to develop knowledge in Networking, Storage Solutions etc.
This is what you'll be doing:
1. Upgrade planning, delivery and reporting on customer projects
2. Have a hand in developing service procedures, policies and standards
3. Upgrading on-prem systems
4. Document procedures for storage policies, procedures and guidelines
The experience/knowledge you'll bring to the team:
1. Comfortable working in an agile environment.
2. Windows/Linux installs, config & admin
3. Knowledge of storage technologies (RAID, iSCSI, CiFS, NFS, Flash etc).
4. Understanding of network infrastructure, services and tool sets
