Job Title: L&D Coordinator/Consultant Location: Onsite, 5 days a week in Monument Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (up to £45,000 with IT contract experience) Reports To: Ops Director Contract Type: Permanent Start Date: March Company Overview: My client is an international contract specialist firm that is currently expanding into the US market. The company prides itself on providing honest, hard work. The US branch, a small but rapidly growing team has prompted the need for a L&D professional. Role Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and organised L&D Coordinator/Consultant to join the business. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for onboarding and coaching new graduates, ensuring they are well-supported and integrated into the company culture and operations. The ideal candidate will be someone who has a background in recruitment (preferably within IT) and is ready to step away from the typical agency recruitment pressures to focus on L&D and coaching. While you won’t be responsible for directly delivering training as will be handled by Directors, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the training schedules, ensuring grads are in the right place at the right time, and providing day-to-day support as needed. Key Responsibilities: Onboarding & Support: Serve as the friendly, supportive face for new graduates, guiding them through the onboarding process. Ensure smooth transitions as grads pass onto managers after 13 weeks of onboarding, while maintaining occasional touchpoints to track progress. Coordination: Manage the coordination of training schedules, ensuring all new grads are properly aligned with their tasks, meetings, and milestones. Maintain an organised, clean, and clear onboarding experience. Recruitment Process Support: Assist in basic recruitment tasks, including conducting 121 sessions, and ensuring that graduates are meeting the expectations set during the onboarding process. Systems Management: Utilise Bullhorn and Cloudcall to track and manage graduates' progress, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support the recruitment team’s broader efforts. Communication & Collaboration: Work closely with the leadership team, assisting with any operational and coordination tasks as needed. Occasionally assist with broader recruitment tasks when necessary. Training Support: While you won’t be delivering the training, you will ensure the training environment is organised, and that graduates are getting the support they need to succeed. Skills & Experience: Recruitment Experience: 2-4 years in a 360 recruitment role, with preference for candidates who have worked in the IT sector. Exposure to fast-paced recruitment environments will be highly beneficial. L&D or Coaching Experience: Any previous L&D experience is an advantage, though the ideal candidate is someone who is ready to move into an L&D role after their time in sales or recruitment. Tech/IT Experience: A background in IT contract recruitment would be a huge plus. Organisational Skills: Excellent time management and organisational abilities to handle multiple tasks and schedules simultaneously. Systems Proficiency: Familiarity with Bullhorn is essential. Experience with Cloudcall would be an ideal bonus. Energy & Attitude: The right energy to work with graduates in a supportive, coaching environment. Must be patient, approachable, and willing to “hold hands” through the onboarding process.
