Location: Hybrid/Flexible – we have centres across Brighton, Haywards Heath or Bognor Regis, giving flexibility to choose your main base - as well as the option for homeworking
Hours: 37 hours per week (x 2 roles available) - open to job share/part-time applicants
Salary: £27,000 per annum

About Us
At Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove (AUKWSBH), we are dedicated to improving the lives of older people in our community. Our Marketing and Communications team plays a crucial role in raising awareness, driving engagement, and promoting our vital services. We are looking for two talented and enthusiastic Marketing & Communications Officers to join us and help spread the word about the incredible work we do.
The Role
As a Marketing & Communications Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our communications strategy, helping to create and deliver engaging content that connects with our audiences. From writing inspiring stories and managing social media to crafting impactful marketing campaigns, this is a varied and rewarding role that allows you to make a real difference.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Content Creation & Marketing Support – Craft compelling content for websites, social media, newsletters, and press releases, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.
2. Social Media & Digital Marketing – Manage and schedule posts across multiple platforms, engage with our followers, and create visually appealing graphics to boost engagement.
3. Campaign Coordination & Event Promotion – Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and support fundraising events with promotional materials and PR opportunities.
4. Email Marketing & Website Management – Design and deliver engaging email campaigns, update our website with fresh content, and ensure a seamless user experience.
5. Graphic Design & Branding – Create eye-catching marketing materials using Canva or Adobe Suite, maintaining a strong and cohesive brand identity.
6. Data Analysis & Reporting – Track marketing performance, report key insights, and use analytics to refine our strategies.
7. Stakeholder & Media Engagement – Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align marketing efforts and maintain strong relationships with the media.
About You
You’re a passionate communicator with a keen eye for detail and a flair for creativity. You’re confident using digital platforms, writing engaging copy, and analysing campaign performance. Most importantly, you’re driven by a desire to use your skills to support a meaningful cause.
