Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Critical Care team at East Suffolk North Essex Foundation Trust, based at Colchester Hospital. We are looking for a highly motivated nurse who is passionate about the care of patients to join our well-established critical care team,in delivering a 24/7 service with the ability to work collaboratively in developing our future services. The post involves delivering clinical leadership and expertise in the management of Level 2 and 3 patients, including paediatrics. Youwill have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work confidently and collaboratively across professionalboundaries. Main duties of the job As a Sister/Charge Nurse you will be responsible for managing a Clinical Specialist Team of registered nurses and healthcare assistants contributing to the Trusts quality and governance agenda. You will work in partnership with the other Sisters/Charge Nurses in delivering a cohesive management approach to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
