About the Role – What You'll Be Doing:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that help every pupil thrive—emotionally, socially, and academically. You may work one-to-one with children who need a bit of extra support, assist with group activities, or help deliver creative learning tasks across the curriculum.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Supporting learning across a range of subjects and year groups
* Assisting pupils with emotional regulation and engagement in learning
* Helping children build confidence and develop their communication and social skills
* Supporting with creative and outdoor activities, including sports and music
* Working closely with staff to monitor progress and provide feedback
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience supporting children in a school or similar setting (essential)
* A warm, patient, and flexible approach to supporting children
* Enthusiasm for inclusive, creative, and pupil-centred learning
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
