We currently have a new and exciting role for a senior FPA to join us on a permanent basis.
This role offers the opportunity to enhance our current financial strategic planning and provide critical insights to our managers and our business. By overseeing the forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis processes, you will drive process improvements and create an environment that supports positive change.
It is important to note that whilst we offer hybrid-working we would expect the successful candidate to be on site in the first two – three months in the role to become fully proficient with our processes and indeed our business.
The Role
This will be a varied role, driven by the successful candidate, but main responsibilities /activities will include:
* Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
* Analyse financial data to spot trends, risks and growth opportunities.
* Collaborate with teams to align financial plans with strategic goals.
* Oversee monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis.
* Enhance financial processes, systems and reporting for efficiency and accuracy.
* Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
About you:
To be brilliant in this role you will be Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) with experience in financial and planning analysis, preferably with supervisory experience. Here are some of the key skills we are looking for:
* Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
* Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - advanced
* Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
* Sharp attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
* Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively
* Comfort working both independently and collaboratively
* Self-motivated with a knack for accurate reporting
* Confident and clear communicator, adept at presenting information to varied audiences
* Thrives under pressure and meets deadlines
