We are in search of a Senior Lighthouse Maintenance Engineer (Civil) to oversee the maintenance of specific elements within the Trinity House estate & ensuring they meet the required standards. Your responsibilities will include drafting contract specifications and negotiating cost-effective contracts for civil maintenance. You'll evaluate contractors' technical suitability for Trinity House civil projects and guarantee compliance with CDM guidelines for all estate-related work. Additionally, you'll act as the Trinity House Client, overseeing on-site contractors to ensure work aligns with agreed-upon standards and maintains high quality. To be successful in this role you should ideally have: Skills and experience - An experienced building maintenance practitioner able to work unsupervised, including in selecting and managing building contractors. - Understanding of management information systems - A thorough working knowledge of the HSE requirements as relating to the construction and building industries, in particular those relating to CDM.
