Trainee Silicone Prosthetics and Orthotics Technician with a strong sculptural and artistic ability, positive work ethic and great attention to detail is required for a Training Program at a well-established Company based in Ringwood, Hampshire.
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – FULL TRAINING PROVIDED
No previous experience of medical orthotics or prosthetics is necessary as training will be provided throughout. Candidates will need an aptitude for specific detail, technical ability and strong sculpting techniques with great hand to eye coordination skills.

As the Trainee Silicone Prosthetics and Orthotics Technician, you will work alongside a specific training program, within a dynamic and highly artistically gifted team.
The role entails producing custom-made medical grade silicone orthotic and prosthetic products to specific manufacturing requirements with great importance given to finish and accuracy.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
1. An aptitude for specific detail, technical ability and strong sculpting techniques
2. Possess and demonstrate great hand to eye co-ordination skills
3. The ability to plan and prioritise work, keeping to tight and demanding production deadlines, whilst remaining calm and focused on the job in hand
4. Work effectively and function well within a busy and lively team environment but possess the skillset to work independently to achieve the desired outcome
5. Be driven and able to interact and communicate effectively with colleagues, patients and external parties
6. Have the strongest of work ethics, with a focused and ‘can do’ approach
7. The ability to thrive in a varied, active and at times, physically demanding hands-on role
8. An expected ability to drive would be advantageous
