Shifts: Part Time, 10 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)
Pay Rate: Basic rate of £12.30 per hour (increasing to £12.90 per hour on 1st of April)

What is involved
As a Chef, you play a vital role in the operation of our Care Homes. You will prepare and produce excellent quality meals to high standards. Responsibilities include:
1. Welcoming the people we support warmly and living our values.
2. Collaborating with colleagues to provide efficient support to our kitchen staff.
3. Planning meals in consultation with residents and staff to ensure individual dietary needs are met.
4. Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety and relevant legislation.

1. Providing high-quality food tailored to people’s needs.
2. Following procedures to ensure consistent, safe, and reliable care in food provision.

Essential Skills
* 12 months cooking experience.
* Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion to make a difference.
* Commitment to the aims and objectives of the home and of Ivolve.
* Satisfactory Police Check and check against the ISA List (where applicable).
* A commitment to undertake training and development.
Desirable Skills
* Previous experience of kitchen work within a social care setting.
* Knowledge and commitment regarding Equal Opportunities.
* Knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
* Confident IT user.
