In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our expansion, serving as the voice of both our Swiss business and our customers. You'll play a key role in shaping campaigns while working closely with our dynamic Local Marketing team in the UK to align strategies.
The role
1. Responsibility for Local Marketing of fitness centers in Switzerland
2. Working closely with the wider Local Marketing team in the UK and Denmark to align strategies, adapt for the Swiss market and business, and then implement
3. Act as a main contact for Switzerland within the wider Marketing team and the Swiss business
4. Brief and activate printed assets (POS) for new and upgraded fitness centers
5. Write media briefs, manage media agency and book campaigns for new and upgraded fitness centers
6. Manage marketing assets and plans for open fitness centers including ordering monthly printed items and creating localised campaigns during our two ‘Peak’ trading periods
7. Develop and implement localised marketing strategies for open fitness centers to ensure they sites hit sales/revenue targets
8. Evaluate campaigns and collaborate with the wider team on results
9. Support fitness centers with event planning and community engagement
10. Support with the adaption of national campaigns and promotions to tailor and bring to life locally
11. Manage and brief agencies such as photographers and videographers
12. Working with the in-house studio on artwork, including briefing and proofreading
13. Co-ordinate translations for campaigns into German and French
14. Track budgets and manage invoices, ensuring good cost control
15. Ensure brand consistency across all local campaigns
16. Perform other ad hoc duties as needed
The person
1. Experience of local marketing, campaign marketing and events marketing within retail, hospitality or fitness industry is preferable but not necessary
2. Ideally candidate to speak German or French but not mandatory. Good grasp of English language, both verbal and written, to communicate effectively within the business
3. Excellent communication skills with proven experience in effectively building strong working relationships across marketing and other areas of a business
4. Has the ability to manage numerous projects in a fast-paced environment, with the proven ability to work well under pressure and under tight deadlines
5. Strong planning skills but has the ability to react quickly to changes that may be required
6. Has great time management and organisational skills, including good attention to detail
7. Is resilient and passionate about their role
8. Proven experience delivering large-scale projects from start to finish
9. Is a trouble shooter and has a solution orientated approach
10. Takes ownership for performance and ensures that all targets are met
11. Has flexibility and ability to travel to fitness centers across Switzerland and occasional travel to the UK throughout the year
