Requirements:
- Qualification in Dental Nursing
- Evidence of registration with the General Dental Council
- Evidence of Indemnity insurance
- Post qualification experience
- Ability to provide a portfolio of documented evidence of CPD attained
- Evidence of hepatitis B immunisation
Full time - Monday - Friday
Your role will include (but is not limited to):
* Take responsibility for the decontamination and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment.
* Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and guidelines.
* Preparing and processing dental instruments and materials as required in line with current regulations (including HTM-01-05)
* Maintain accurate records of sterilisation processes.
* Assist in stock control.
* Collaborate with the dental team to promote a safe and sterile environment.
* Escorting patients from the waiting room to the surgery
* Providing chair side support to the dentist or hygienist during treatment where necessary
* Assisting in the keeping of full and accurate patient records and ensuring that they are regularly updated and stored securely.
* Liaise with dental staff to ensure all surgeries are equipped with the necessary instruments and equipment for scheduled procedures.
* Ensuring equipment maintenance and upkeep is followed.
* Administrative tasks as and when required.
