Hello,
My client based in Stonehouse is looking for a QC Engineer to join their busy team due to expansion.

You will have experience of working in a Quality Inspection role, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment, including experience of Metrology/Calibration/FARO Arm CMM. Candidates will need to have a knowledge and understanding of a variety of manufacturing processes and the ability to evaluate and problem solve. An understanding and experience in interpreting engineering drawings, certification, Client specifications and standards requirements (API, ISO, PED, etc) is essential.
This role would ideally suit somebody who values the importance of attention to detail and has the ability to work using their own initiative whilst also being part of a team. You will need the ability to quickly establish effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

* Supporting instrumentation and equipment calibration activities

* Supporting machine shop inspections using Faro 3D CMM measuring equipment (in addition to basic mechanical measurement activities).
* Supporting painted component inspections including but not limited to paint adhesion, thickness, and quality checks.
* Completion of assessments of welded components to assess quality of weld using visual and basic measuring equipment
