We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer to join our team to join our Haverfordwest Creamery team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in maintenance and fault finding on a range of automation systems and process equipment. As an Engineer in our organisation, you will be pivotal in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations.

The Role
As an Engineer, you will undertake planned and unplanned maintenance work ensuring KPI targets are achieved.
Additionally, you will:
- Carry out condition monitoring, address any changes immediately and escalate as appropriate
- Ensure maintenance of department and factory procedures
- Diagnose, fault analysis and repair our PLC control systems
- Interrogate the site-planned maintenance system for maintenance history retrieval and trending
- Maintain electrical equipment, motors, drives.
- Test electrical circuits diagnose electrical faults and implement repairs
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and process plant infrastructure
About You
To be considered as our Engineer, you will need to have:
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering).
- Recognised apprenticeship in a modern factory or manufacturing environment, ideally within a food or process manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in maintenance, fault finding, and troubleshooting a diverse range of process equipment such as automation systems, pumps, compressors, actuators, conveyors, and pipework.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
