Band 6/7 Locum Podiatrist – Wickford Position: Band 6/7 Locum Podiatrist Banding: 6/7 Start Date: October Hours: Part-Time/Full-Time Duration: 3 months Rate: £24:00 – £34.00 P/H Job Description: We are seeking a Band 6/7 Locum Podiatrist to join our team in Wickford, starting as soon as possible. The role is available for an initial 3-month period, with the possibility of extension. The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options. For Band 7, the role involves 22.5 hours per week, while Band 6 positions can be full-time. The successful candidate will be HCPC registered and have the right to work in the UK. This role focuses on providing care in high-risk and ulceration clinics, including home visits, and involves collaboration with secondary care Multi-Disciplinary Foot Teams (MDFT) and Vascular teams. What your responsibilities will be for this Podiatry role? As a Band 6/7 Locum Podiatrist, you will deliver advanced podiatric care within high-risk and ulceration clinics, addressing complex cases involving foot ulcers and other severe conditions. Your responsibilities will include performing comprehensive assessments, creating and implementing treatment plans, and managing ongoing patient care. You will also conduct home visits to support patients who are unable to attend clinics. Collaboration with secondary care MDFT and Vascular teams is essential to ensure integrated and effective treatment strategies. Maintaining accurate patient records and contributing to service development are also key aspects of the role.
