Progress Teachers are working closely with a local mainstream secondary school to appoint an experienced and knowledgeable Teacher of English Literature for an ASAP start.

Responsibilities of the Role:
* Plan and deliver engaging and impactful lessons for students across KS3 and KS4
* Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation and collaboration amongst all pupils.
* Regularly monitor student progress using formative and summative assessments.
* Provide timely and tailored feedback to support longer-term learning.
* Collaborate with colleagues to implement effective teaching strategies and lesson plans.
* Participate in wider-school events, as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE with QTS, or equivalent) with a focus on English Literature / Language is advantageous, but non-qualified teachers with experience delivering the UK Curriculum will also be considered.
* A degree in English Literature or a related field, with a strong understanding of key concepts and a passion for the subject.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
* A commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment that caters to the needs of all students.
* A DBS on the Update Service or Willingness to obtain.
