Job Title: Civil Litigator
Salary: £30,000 to £45,000
Location: Sheffield (with hybrid working)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:
* Working closely with a senior director, servicing a varied civil litigation caseload, including but not limited to boundary & land disputes, professional negligence, property damage claims, debt recovery, and contract disputes.
* Conducting case reviews following disputes in liability, cases with complexity, where settlement & costs proposals are rejected, where further investigations are required, etc.
* Allocation of administrative tasks as required.
* Attending hearings, preparing cases, and instructing counsel as required.

Application Criteria:
* Experience handling traditional civil litigation claims is essential.
* Ideally, you will be a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive.
* Applications from trainees due to qualify are welcome.
* Qualified by experience or experienced civil litigators' applications are more than welcome.
