Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant Location: Cullompton, Devon Salary: £90.32 - £95 per day Hours: Part-time Support, Inspire, and Empower Long Term Teachers is looking for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a primary school in Cullompton. This part-time role focuses on providing individualised assistance to a child with additional needs, helping them succeed in a mainstream classroom setting. Your Role and Responsibilities Offer tailored support to the assigned pupil, both inside and outside the classroom. Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies. Encourage the child's social, emotional, and academic growth in a nurturing environment. Assist in managing behaviour positively and effectively. What We’re Looking For Experience working with children is essential; prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is beneficial but not required. Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting student progress. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff, pupils, and parents.
