Job Description: The HPE Services Reseller Business Development & Engagement Lead will join the WW HPE Services Channel Sales and GTM organization with the objective of growing the HPE Services channel business of the countries and partners under his/her scope. He/she will act as a business consultant to HPE PBMs/Peaked PBMs Compute & Storage Specialists on how to grow HPE Services with their partners through performance analysis, initiatives, and HPE Services awareness creation. He/she will act as an extension of the partner sales account team, for a l imited list of nominated partners to deliver services growth. Supports and advises HPE PBMs/Peaked PBMs Compute & Storage Specialists to navigate HPE Services programs, processes and tools. Management Level Definition: Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Responsibilities: Work in close collaboration with PBM/Peaked PBMs and Compute /Storage Channel Specialists to deliver strategic HPE Services objectives. Support a limited list of nominated partners and HPE PBMs/Peaked PBMs Compute & Storage Specialists helping them maximize the HPE Services business through leveraging HPE Partner Ready: Service Partner program, best practice sharing, initiatives and partner sales team portfolio enablement across all selling motions. Monitor partner services order and performance metrics. Analyze partner trends to identify opportunities for improvement and develop actionable insights to enhance partner satisfaction and engagement. Drive Partner Engagement Framework for quarterly partner business reviews with a focus on areas for improvement and better business outcomes. Performs business analysis, identifies root cause, and develops recommendations/ solutions to drive business improvements. Utilizes in-depth understanding of customer business and complex requirements to develop business case, validate the solution, and demonstrate services added value. Utilizes technical and business skills to lead complex cross- functional activities that drive continuous growth of the services business. Provides mentoring and guidance to peers and lower-level employees. Education and Experience Required: Typically, 8 years to establish a proven track record in directly related business. Experience in working in complex international virtual environments. Experience in the services business: operational services and/or advisory and professional services Experience in working with channel partners Sales and/or Business development experience Knowledge and Skills: Medium to high knowledge of the IT services industry, competing vendors, and the channel. Excels in business analytics, problem detection and identification of root cause. Excellent partnering acumen Customer oriented Moderate understanding of HPE’s channel partner programs: HPE Partner Ready: Solution Provider; HPE Partner Ready: Service Partner; HPE Partner Ready Vantage In-depth of the company’s organization & operations, including key business rules, and alignment with company GBU go-to-market strategies, partner segmentation, key programs & initiatives, structure and business model. Proven ability to lead teams to achieve results, exercise independent judgment and handle unique situations to accomplish goals in tight time frames. Demonstrated skills in planning and financial analysis. Medium level of planning, project management and change management skills. Project and change management training and certification as appropriate. Good presentation skills. Ability to influence different functions, geographies, and the ability to build strong consensus. Impacts internal and external clients on WW basis. Self-starter, resourceful, persistent and action oriented.
