Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, the Purchase Ledger will be responsible for managing, processing, and resolving discrepancies in supplier invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is integral to the smooth operation of the finance department and requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. What we’re looking for: Essential skills: Provide support Escalation capability Handover ability Attention to Detaila Responsibilities: Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process supplier invoices in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions, including filing and archiving of invoices and payment records. Reconciliation : Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly, Working closely with suppliers and internal departments to address issues. Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits by retrieving and compiling necessary documentation and records. General Office Admin duties and any other duties as required by the Finance Controller and Finance Supervisor. To produce ad-hoc reports as requested. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function and contribute to the implementation of more efficient procedures. Essential criteria: Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role is highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Committed to working within the Company Values.
