Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate Quality Manager to lead their quality team. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality standards across the organisation, improving processes, and promoting a continuous improvement culture. You will also lead the team in meeting quality goals and compliance with key standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement the company’s quality strategy, setting clear goals and priorities.
2. Ensure the business is always ready for audits and maintains high-quality standards.
3. Review and improve processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Maintain and improve the quality management systems.
5. Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and UKAS 17025 accreditation standards.
6. Mentor and train staff on quality practices and procedures.
7. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to drive better results.
Skills & Experience:
1. Professional qualification in quality management with proven experience.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role (experience in a lab or science environment is a plus).
3. Strong knowledge of UKAS 17025 standards.
4. Experience with LEAN principles and continuous improvement.
5. Proven leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
7. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
